The Artist
A native to Missouri DEFAME currently works and lives in Texas. Melding styles from ink masters of the 1800s and silver and bronze age comics, Defame creates explosive images of darkness with a shred of light. He has worked with notable bands and brands including: Pabst Blue Ribbon, Planet Rock, Famous Stars and Straps, Sullen, Revocation, ZERO Skateboards, Creature Skateboards and Liquid Death.
Drawing demons and mutants early as 10 years old. DEFAME started his career in the fine art realm, winning competitions, showing in galleries and participating in group shows and exhibitions.
In 2012 DEFAME embarked on his journey in design and illustration. He started his business while studying at The Art Institute of Saint Louis. Graduating at the top of his class in 2014, Defame continued his passion and began freelance work as well as creating products for his own brand.
Creating is a necessity for DEFAME, he strives to inspire as he has been inspired.
