Is there a time limit on downloading designs?

Yes, you have 24 hours after purchasing a design to download the files. If you forget, please send an email explaining that you need another link for downloading the files. The is a timer set for security.

I don’t understand how licensing works?

Once you purchase the design, it will be taken down from the website, only you will own licensing rights to the design. Licensing simply means you have legal right to use the design to make merchandise or use for advertising.

Do I own the full design?

No, you only own licensing rights of the design. The artist owns all rights to the design, meaning he can use the artwork for display, use in publications, such as magazines, books, and online articles, as well as all original physical material (sketches and final drawing). You as the client are able to use the design for as long as you wish and utilize the design for any number of applications.

Will the design I purchased be resold?

No, I keep the digital file for only publication, portfolio, and advertising purposes. I will not use the design for merchandise (unless in the rare occasion I ask to make stickers, prints etc.) or sell the digital files to more than one client (this I would never do).
*There are some cases where I have previously made merchandise out of a design that I later sold; I do keep selling anything that I have purchased before selling licensing rights.

Can I resell the design?

NO. I can’t stop you from selling it, however my designs are copyrighted under the trademark DEFAME and I have legal right to file action if I find it has been sold to someone other than the original licensed owner.
